This Friday, February 2, is another Roadside Breakfast from 7:30am until 9:30am. You can expect the usual coffee, tea, fruit and homemade muffins. All human powered commuters welcome!
The breakfast went well with eight total people showing up. Jen almost lost her pinky fingers riding down, and the first round of coffee looked like tea.
But! Jen kept all her fingers, and with fresh ground beans from Chiapas via New Pioneer, the coffee persevered. The baked goods were yummy (even though I didn't try the chewy scones), and we developed a mascot for future breakfasts.
The Bike Library is a volunteer-run community bike project located in Iowa City, IA. We repair donated bikes and check them out to the public. Bikes are priced with a deposit (ranging from $30-$100). If a bike is returned in good condition within the six-month checkout period, the full amount of the deposit will be returned to the user. Alternately, patrons can choose to keep their bikes and forfeit their deposit.
RETAIL HOURS
Saturdays 10:00-1:00
